CODE SAFE IMMOBILISER
Customer Handbook : INSTRUCTIONS.
Arming the System (immobiliser ON)
Automatic Arm:
When the ignition switch is turned off, the system arms automatically. After 30 sec, the keypad blinks.
Manual Arm:
Press THE STAR and hold for about 2 seconds. The system will then make> a long beep followed by two short beeps, signalling that the keypad is being armed.Disarming the System (immobiliser OFF)
1. Open the door > The keyboard illuminates > The keypad is flashing slowly
2. Enter your code + the star button on your keypad to disarm your immobiliser You will hear two beeps the system is now disarmed.
3. Turn the ignition or push your button switch to start the engine.
Note: Four beeps are emitted if an invalid code is entered, and the keypad remains flashing. Three invalid attempts block the keyboard for five to twenty minutes. Your car is now IMMOBILISED.
Changing Your Code – IMPORTANT INFORMATION
When your registered installer installs your CODE SAFE keypad in your vehicle, they will use the security protocol database to store all your details, including your original data. If the keypad is malfunctioning, your CODE SAFE installer can help you override it with the original master code over the phone. You need to give them all your details before they give out the master code.
Your CODE SAFE installer will save your information, including your original data, in the security protocol database when they install your keypad. If your keypad malfunctions, your installer can give you the original master code over the phone to override it, but only after you confirm all your details.
If you wish to change your code regularly, keep a log book safe with all your previous code information so you will never forget your original code updated changes.
CHANGING YOUR CODE:
1. Enter the ORIGINAL PIN to start the car
2. Enter new pin, THEN PRESS STAR BUTTON *
3. Re-enter the new PIN. AGAIN, THEN PRESS THE STAR BUTTON *
Your code has been changed.

Remembering your code – for your vehicle is very important. Keeping your code information safe, away from unauthorised access, is crucial. To ensure the security of your car and your peace of mind. Please don’t share your information with anyone you don’t trust. Keep your personal 4-5 digits SAFE. Don’t leave a copy of your code in your vehicle. Please keep it safe on your phone or save the information where you hold all other passwords.After installation, your installer will give you all the necessary information and can always help you if you forget your code. The system has advanced security features to keep your vehicle safe, and your installer will always be available to support you.

INSURANCE
Potential Insurance Premium Discounts. Secondary Immobilisers: ASKING FOR A DISCOUNT.
Installing a secondary immobiliser in your vehicle can lead to discounts on your insurance premium. This is because a secondary immobiliser is an additional theft deterrent, making your vehicle less attractive to thieves. By reducing the risk of theft, insurance companies may offer you a lower premium The discount amount will vary depending on the insurance company, your policy, and the type of secondary immobiliser installed. You should contact your insurance provider directly to inquire about potential discounts and eligibility requirements.
EXPERIENCING FAULTY KEYPADS?
If the keypad fails, you can reboot it by holding the star key down for 3 seconds until you hear a long beep.
Then, enter the correct code + star button, turn on the vehicle, push the break and push the button or turn the key.
If the keypad is tampered with incorrectly three times, the CODE SAFE IMMOBILISER will shut down for 5 min until it rearms itself.
Once the vehicle is armed, the CODE SAFE is reset.
To start your car, enter the CODE plus the STAR button and either push the button or turn the key as usual.

STEPS to change to 30 sec ARMING TIME:
1. Disarm using master or user code; two beeps will be heard.
2. Turn ignition on.
3. Press on one immediately until two beeps are heard.
4. Press on five immediately until two beeps are heard.
5. Turn the ignition OFF.
6. The unit will Arm after 30 sec.
Steps to change to 10 minutes: ARMING TIME
1. Disarm using master or user code; beeps will be heard.
2. Turn ignition on.
3. Press on one immediately until two beeps are heard.
4. Press on four immediately until two beeps are heard.
5. Turn the ignition OFF.
6. The unit will Arm after 10 minutes.
VALET MODE – when leaving your car for service.
1. The system is armed ( can not start the car )
2. Put the Code in (the system is disarmed ). Start your car
3. Within 30 seconds, Press the star button, hold for 3 seconds, then turn off the car
4. Two beeps and the car is in valet mode
VALET MODE OFF
1. Engine off.
2. Press the star button and hold until you hear a long beep
3. Enter the Pin- Code ( 2 beeps ). The system is out of Valet Mode.
